Professional bio

Dr Jonathan Rodrigues is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Radiologist and Lead for Standards and Guidelines at the British Society of Thoracic Imaging. He also has a PhD in Cardiovascular MRI scanning.

Jonathan is an NIHR West of England Clinical Research Imaging Champion and an NIHR imaging workforce committee member.

His specialist areas of expertise include cardiac imaging, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer screening and COVID-19.

Jonathan is part of the team at Heart&Lung Heath which provides access to award-winning Cardiothoracic Radiologists with targeted expertise in the diagnosis of lung and cardiac conditions. The team at Heart&Lung Health use innovative technology to deliver rapid, reliable and uniquely subspecialist imaging reports that are focused on providing genuinely world-class patient care.

Heart&Lung Health radiologists offer subspecialty chest expertise that is tailored to individual lung and cardiac conditions, thereby offering a bespoke, individualised diagnostic report for all cardiothoracic imaging.

Specialist cardiothoracic radiologists support the radiology department at St Joseph's thereby helping to improve efficiency through tackling workload variations.
