Self-Pay Information

You can choose your consultant or self-refer to the relevant specialist unit. Our patient advisors will confirm whether a GP referral is required. If needed, private GP appointments are also available through The Independent General Practice (IGP).

For patients funding their own treatment, we offer transparent self-pay rates to help you manage healthcare costs with confidence. Our team is here to ensure a smooth and straightforward payment process, so you can focus on your health without any surprises. For patients undergoing surgical procedures, we provide a written quotation in advance. Payment is usually requested 7 days prior to admission and can be made via credit/debit card or BACS transfer.

Our financial services team is always available to guide you through payment options and answer any billing questions, providing support at every step.

Paying with Private Health Insurance

We work with most major UK health insurance providers. We encourage patients to contact their insurer before booking an appointment to understand their coverage and any policy limitations.

When booking, our team will ask for your insurance verification details, and our finance team will handle the claim process. To process your private medical insurance claim, please provide the following information:

Name of provider (e.g., BUPA)
Policy/membership number
Authorisation number
Expiry date of authorisation
Maximum treatment budget/appointments
Value of any personal policy excess
Any conditions or exclusions

In most cases, costs are agreed in advance, and payment for consultations and treatments will be made directly by your insurer. In some cases, you may be responsible for any elements of treatment not covered by your policy.
