Mr Sherif Wilson

Mr Sherif Wilson FRCS (Plast) is a Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery based in Southmead Hospital in Bristol and runs a successful private practice consulting in Newport, Bristol, Bath and Gloucester. Mr Wilson believes that patient satisfaction is paramount and he will look after you through every step of your treatment, including unlimited pre and post-operative care and support.

Mr Wilson has a special interest in breast reconstruction but his cosmetic practice includes facial aesthetic surgery (including eyelid surgery, face lifting, and ear surgery), breast surgery (augmentation, uplift, reduction and fat grafting or lipofilling) and body contouring (tummy tuck procedures, liposuction, correction of gynaecomastia and labiaplasty).

Mr Wilson is the lead clinician for the plastic surgery department and the lead clinician in Breast Reconstruction at North Bristol NHS Trust (NBT), Southmead Hospital. He was also the Training Programme Director for the South West until he resigned from this position in June 2018. He is also currently the Chair of the Breast Special Interest Group for the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (BAPRAS). He is a member of the British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.

Mr Wilson regularly receives referrals from GPs and other medical professionals. Many of his patients return again and again, and they are happy to refer friends and family. This demonstrates the loyalty and high level of patient satisfaction he has achieved; showing his patients know that they are in safe hands.

Mr Wilson takes time to see all patients on at least two occasions before booking an operation to ensure all questions and concerns have been fully addressed. He personally carries out all pre-operative consultations and all follow-up appointments. There is no limit to the post-op visits, there are no extra charges for follow up as they are included in the operative fees, he is happy to see you, as many times as you feel is necessary.
