Professional bio
Following foundation training, undertook Core Surgical Training across the Oxford and Liverpool Deaneries, gaining extensive exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties. This period provided a solid technical and academic foundation, alongside the development of key operative skills and clinical decision-making in orthopaedic and trauma surgery.
Then completed higher specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery within the Severn Deanery in Bristol. During this time, gained comprehensive experience in the management of both routine and complex orthopaedic conditions, including trauma, degenerative joint disease, and upper limb disorders. Training in a busy regional network allowed to develop advanced surgical skills and a patient-centred approach to care.
After achieving Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), then pursued a series of prestigious international fellowships to further develop subspecialist expertise. I completed a fellowship at the Major Trauma Centre in Hamilton, New Zealand, where they gained significant experience in the management of complex trauma and high-energy injuries.
This was followed by an internationally recognised Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship in Brisbane, Australia, under the mentorship of Professor Mark Ross. During this fellowship, I developed advanced expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of shoulder and elbow conditions, including arthroscopic surgery, instability, and complex reconstructive procedures.
I subsequently undertook a further fellowship at the renowned Lister Upper Limb Unit in Stevenage, a leading UK centre for shoulder and elbow surgery. Here, I focused on advanced upper limb procedures, with particular emphasis on computer-guided surgery and modern techniques in shoulder replacement.
I specialise in shoulder and elbow surgery and has a particular interest in arthroscopic procedures, shoulder instability, rotator cuff disease, and shoulder replacement, including computer-assisted techniques. Their clinical approach combines evidence-based practice with the latest surgical innovations to deliver personalised treatment and optimal outcomes for patients.
I remain actively engaged in professional development and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care through continuous learning, surgical innovation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
