Aqua Therapy

Aqua therapy

Aqua therapy is a gentle form of body and mind therapy performed in warm water. It combines joint mobilisation, stretching and relaxation into one combined treatment therapy.

You are moved through the water in a continuous flow of different movements, while at all times being supported in a state of total body floatation. This therapy can be used for the physiological benefits of movement on joints, muscle and connective tissue and also for meditation and total body relaxation.

Benefits can include:

  • increased range of motion (ROM)
  • reduced pain
  • reduced anxiety and stress
  • improved muscle relaxation
  • improved recovery after training
  • improved sleeping patterns
  • improved wellbeing
