Professional bio

I am a Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery based in Morriston Hospital, Swansea and University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff and runs a private practice consulting in Newport, and Swansea.

In 2012, I became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) of England. Having completed my speciality training in Egypt followed by equivalent training in Bristol UK, I was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery, FRCS(Plast), in 2018.

I gained further super-specialist training in Reconstructive microsurgery at the renowned microsurgery centre in Bristol where I did two fellowships in Breast Reconstruction and Limb Reconstruction.

I have published many scientific articles within the Plastic Surgery Literature throughout his career and regularly presents at national and international plastic surgery conferences. He is also actively involved in teaching both at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and he is a faculty member of multiple plastic surgery courses.

Patient satisfaction is the main aim of my practice.

I have a special interest in Microsurgery (Complex reconstructive procedures for Breast and Limbs) but my cosmetic practice includes facial aesthetic surgery (eyelid surgery, ear surgery), breast surgery (augmentation, uplift, reduction and fat grafting or lipofilling) and body contouring (tummy tuck procedures, liposuction, correction of gynaecomastia).

I am a member of the British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS)

I take time to see all cosmetic patients on at least two occasions before booking an operation to ensure all questions and concerns have been fully addressed. I personally carry out all pre-operative consultations and all follow-up appointments. There is no limit to the post-op visits, there are no extra charges for follow up as they are included in the operative fees.

I am registered with most health insurance providers and am fee assured.

Mr Emam is pleased to offer 0% finance payment options.
