Year of first medical qualification: 1987
I have been a consultant neurologist since 1995, initially in Bath and since 2003 in South East Wales and have a substantive NHS contract. I see my private patients at St Joseph's Hospital.
As well as providing a general neurology service, including acute neurology for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, I carry out regional clinics for dystonia in Cardiff and lead the multidisciplinary Motor neurone disease clinics locally.
I am co-Director of the South Wales Motor Neurone Disease Care Network.
I also have a clinical interest in the management of headache, including injection therapy with botulinum, occipital nerve blocks and novel CGRP antagonist therapies.
I see individuals with a wide range of presenting neurological symptoms.
