Subfertility

Subfertility refers to a reduced ability to conceive naturally. Unlike infertility, which means a complete inability to conceive, subfertility means it may take longer than usual to become pregnant.

This can affect both men and women, and may be due to a range of factors such as:

Hormonal imbalances
Ovulation issues
Low sperm count or quality
Age-related factors
Lifestyle or underlying health conditions

Subfertility is typically considered when a couple has been trying to conceive for over 12 months without success, despite regular unprotected intercourse.
