St Joseph’s Hospital support Action for Children Christmas Appeal

St Joseph’s Hospital are proud to share that they supported Action for Children over the Christmas period through staff donating presents to the charity and raising money through their Christmas Jumper Day.
Action for Children were extremely grateful for the support from the staff at St Joseph’s Hospital, especially during such challenging times. The team at Action for Children have commented, “Thanks to your kindness…you made all our Christmas intentions possible. We were truly blown away by the amplitude of what you offered!”
The team at Action for children shared where the donations went and the joy it spread throughout the community. All presents were wrapped and either given to families or children at Christmas parties, food hampers were given to families most in need and the money raised was used for Christmas activities and to support the children to go on a residential trip where they will experience a weekend of fun and excitement but also this will offer respite to families.
Action for Children have commented on St Joseph’s generous donations ‘We are truly overwhelmed by the support you have provided for the children of Tafarn Newydd Action for Children. This made a huge difference to the lives of the children and families we support, giving them the Christmas, they truly deserved!!’
