David is a senior therapist at St Jospeh’s hospital with 15 years of clinical expertise across the UK and internationally. He holds a BSc in Physiotherapy from Cardiff University (2006–2009) and a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science from Swansea University (2003–2006), both with 2:1 honours.

Throughout his career, David has worked in elite sport, the NHS, private practice, and international clinics. His roles have included working with Cardiff City FC Academy, South Wales Scorpions Rugby league, managing musculoskeletal caseloads in NHS hospitals across South Wales, and leading multidisciplinary rehab teams in Singapore including clinic manager and head of junior mentorship. His most recent role was at the Physio clinic Bristol with a large focus on recreational endurance athletes and running clinic.

He has an extensive portfolio of professional development including:

• Level 4 Sports Massage and Bike Fit certification
• Strength & Conditioning (UKSCA Foundation and Plyometrics)
• World Rugby Level 2 Immediate Care, Ironman Certified Coach, and British Triathlon Level 2 Coach

A passionate endurance athlete himself, David has completed multiple marathons and two Ironman triathlons, qualifying for the 70.3 World Championships in 2019. His clinical interests lie in lower limb rehab, return-to-sport progression, and supporting runners and triathletes through injury recovery and performance optimisation. However, as demonstrated by his clinical experience he is happy to assess and treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions including spinal and upper limb.
