Clinical Services

Clinical Services refers to careers as Theatre Practitioners, Registered Nurses & Healthcare Assistants. Please open the links below to see current vacancies.

Theatre practitioners

St Joseph’s has three operating theatres and an endoscopy suite. A fourth theatre is opening in January 2022 as the hospital invests in expansion.

The two principal theatres are state-of-the-art laminar flow theatres capable of supporting complex surgery and the third theatre is designed for day case surgery.

The modern purpose-designed endoscopy suite enables St Joseph’s to be a leading provider of endoscopy services working towards JAG accreditation.

Registered nurses

We're looking for experienced nurses to join our pre-assessment, ward, day surgery and outpatient teams.

Join us and become part of a talented, passionate team of people, committed to providing the best care and treatment to patients. Our high nurse-to-patient ratio means you can provide high-quality care without having to compromise.

We have opportunities for nurses at all levels, both in general nursing and a variety of specialisms. Where ever you join us, you’ll collaborate with consultants and physiotherapists to deliver treatment plans and have direct involvement in the patient pathway.

Caring about others also means wanting the best possible outcomes for them. Our nurses not only want the best for others and know how this will be achieved, but they want to make a real difference.

Healthcare Assistants

Would you like to be in a supportive hospital environment where you can develop your skills? Then consider a career as a Healthcare Assistant.

St Joseph’s is looking to recruit people who are passionate about caring for others and enjoy working as part of a team.

As a healthcare assistant, we’ll help you to complete any required competencies relating to your job role and you’ll have several career paths.
