Mr Richard Evans specialise in a holistic approach to shoulder problems with specific interest in the latest arthro-scopic techniques.
Growing up in Cardiff, Mr Evans attended University in Nottingham, returning to Wales for his surgical training. Mr Evans completed two Fellow-ships in Shoulder Surgery and Sports Injury in Sydney, Australia. This practice trained Mr Evans in the latest techniques in arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery.
An active member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society, Mr Evans regularly presents his latest research projects. He has been a consultant Trauma Surgeon in South Wales for approximately 20 years with a wealth of experience in the field.
Mr Evans is an Honorary Surgeon to the Welsh Rugby Union, English Rugby Union, Cardiff Rugby, Scarlets, Ospreys, Dragons and the majority of English Rugby Premiership teams in the South of England. Plus Cardiff City Football and several cricket teams in the South of the UK.
