Judith Jones

Physiotherapy Assistant

Level I Hydrotherapy

Professional profile

I have been a physiotherapy assistant at the Centre for Clinical Physiotherapy since 2005. During that time I have been involved with the rehabilitation of orthopaedic patients undergoing hip and knee replacement surgery.

I work closely with patients and colleagues in the hydrotherapy department where we gain extremely high patient satisfaction feedback and outcomes. I completed the Level I Hydrotherapy course to develop my knowledge-base and assist in the development and running of self-help hydrotherapy sessions. Self-help hydrotherapy allows patients the opportunity to continue their rehabilitation and maintain exercise tolerance in a supervised environment.

I enjoy working closely with patients and seeing their progress from the early stages of recovery to reaching their full potential.

As well as being a keen swimmer, in my spare time I enjoy being outdoors with my family walking, cycling and kayaking no matter what the weather!
