Professional profile

Esther joined the team at the Centre for Clinical Physiotherapy in early 2017 offering neurological and vestibular treatment and rehabilitation to private patients in the region for the first time. 

Esther qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1996 from the Cardiff School of Physiotherapy, University of Wales and has worked in the NHS since.  Currently, alongside providing treatments at St Joseph’s Hospital, Esther is a clinical specialist physiotherapist specialising in neurology and vestibular rehabilitation within the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (NHS). 

Early on in her career Esther specialised in neurological rehabilitation working with patients with conditions such as Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. 

For the last 15 years Esther have also specialised in vestibular rehabilitation, treating patients with dizziness related to inner ear disorders; including unilateral and bilateral vestibular loss, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo and Meniere’s disease. 

Having joined the physiotherapy team at St Joseph’s Hospital, Esther is able to deliver the highest standards of physiotherapy care in neurological and vestibular rehabilitation. 

Patients can book direct for an assessment without the need for a referral or alternatively, if using private medical insurance, can be referred via their GP.
