St Joseph’s continues their support for Cerebral Palsy Cymru

St Joseph’s Hospital are thrilled to announce their continuous support for Cerebral Palsy Cymru’s specialist early intervention service ‘Better Start, Better Future’, for babies who have or at risk of cerebral palsy. St Joseph’s support means that 18 additional babies will be able to receive a vital early intervention therapy session this year. St Joseph’s Hospital’s support is needed more than ever for Cerebral Palsy Cymru as there has been a surge in referrals by 33%, meaning the demand for these services are increasing

St Joseph’s Radiographer invited to trial ground-breaking Cardiac MRI technology at Siemens Healthineers Headquarters

Benny Lawton, Executive Cardiac MR Radiographer at St Joseph’s hospital, was invited to evaluate the very latest in Cardiac MRI software at what he called “the extremely impressive” Siemens Healthineers headquarters in Erlangen, Germany.

St Joseph's Hospital sponsors Admiral City of Newport Half Marathon

St Joseph’s Hospital are pleased to announce that they are sponsoring the Admiral City of Newport Half Marathon which takes place on the 5th March 2023. The race, organised by St David’s Hospice Care, will be celebrating its 10 year anniversary in 2023. St Joseph’s hospital have supported the event every year since it began and have been delighted to be part of raising money for the cause

St Joseph's Physiotherapists at the Commonwealth Games!

Two of our fantastic physiotherapist team attended the Commonwealth Games. This week the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games officially closed and handed the baton over to Victoria 2026. St Joseph’s Hospital have thoroughly enjoyed the two weeks of sporting activity and cheering on the home nations. It was a fantastic event and now they are pleased to welcome home Oliver Wilding and Jonny Harper, physiotherapists at St Joseph’s Hospital, who had the pleasure of working at the games
