Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist - MSK
to join our Physiotherapy Team

We are currently recruiting for a confident and highly professional individual to join our dynamic Physiotherapy team. In addition to advanced musculoskeletal treatment the Centre now offers a wide range of specialist services including Sports Medicine, Pelvic Health, Hand Therapy, Orthotics, Pilates, and Hydrotherapy.

You will be an experienced, self-motivated and forward thinking clinician who integrates well within a team and possesses excellent communication skills. You will need to demonstrate effective clinical reasoning skills, readily embrace innovation in healthcare, be committed to delivering evidence informed clinical practice and provide high quality care with the patient. The role involves managing a varied musculoskeletal case load within the Centre with access to individual treatment rooms; a gym/rehabilitation area and our purpose built Hydrotherapy Centre. You will be supported with a comprehensive mentoring programme from senior specialist clinicians that ensures personal and professional development and promotes high quality treatment within a biopsychosocial framework. Experience treating patients in a hydrotherapy setting is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. Part of the role will include supporting inpatient care for predominantly orthopaedic cases on our wards as service need demands and includes being part of a weekend ward rota.

The position is full time (37.5 hours) and a flexible working pattern that meets service demands will be supported.

If you would like to join our growing team and feel you have the necessary skills for this role, we look forward to hearing from you.

The successful candidate will require an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.

To apply for the position please email hr@stjosephshospital.co.uk.

If you would like to have an informal chat about the role, please contact Troy Wilson on 01633 820321.
