How UrgentCare works

The UrgentCare Centre is open from 10am – 6pm, 7 days a week.*  Operating as a walk-in service, initial treatment is on a self-pay basis and is not covered by private medical insurance.

When you arrive you will be asked to provide a credit or debit card as a means of payment and we also accept cash.  An experienced clinician will then carry out an initial assessment of your injury or symptoms and, if appropriate, provide the treatment needed.

You will be kept fully advised of the cost of your treatment at all stages and before it is undertaken.

With access to on-site imaging and laboratory facilities, the UrgentCare Centre offers a complete initial assessment of your condition and will refer and/or admit if necessary.  If you are referred, or admitted to hospital, your private medical insurance can be used once agreed by the insurer.  If you do not have medical insurance, you may still be referred or admitted on a continuing self-pay basis.

UrgentCare is fully staffed by a dedicated team of doctors and nurses.

*The UrgentCare Centre will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
