About Me

Since qualifying as a physiotherapist from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 1998 I have worked in both the NHS and private sectors, treating a wide range of patients with varying conditions.

I have a special interest in sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation and in the past I have worked as the head physiotherapist for the Newport Gwent Dragons, Wales 7s Rugby, Wales Rugby League and Wales Under 20s Rugby Union. I am currently working with the Cardiff Blues Academy squad as part of their medical team. I have also worked with a variety of amateur and recreational athletes from a wide variety of sports and backgrounds.

I completed post-graduate study and gained specialist training to obtain my MSc in sports physiotherapy from the University of Bath in 2003 and am currently completing a master’s degree in strength and conditioning from St Mary’s University, London. I use this knowledge-base to effectively treat all manner of sporting injuries, from acute to chronic, and work with clients to develop a comprehensive training plan for return to exercise and sport.
